What to expect
Flat to gently rolling gravel underfoot with minimal elevation gain. The track winds through typical South-West forest—jarrah and marri woodland typical of the region. Expect dappled shade from the canopy, though some sections may be open. The track should be clearly marked; surface is well-maintained gravel suitable for standard walking shoes.
Good to know
Carry water, especially in warmer months. Summer heat and bushfire risk mean early morning or late afternoon walks are preferable December–February. The track is accessible year-round; spring (August–October) offers wildflower colour in the South-West. Sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes recommended on gravel.
