Wardan Nara Bidi is a 5.9 km moderate bushwalk on Rottnest Island offering a solid half-day outing. What to expect
Mostly flat to gently rolling terrain on sandy and limestone paths. The track is well-signposted throughout. Vegetation provides intermittent shade, but expect some sun-exposed stretches, particularly along coastal sections. Footing is generally stable, though sandy patches may be soft underfoot.
Good to know
Carry 1–2 litres of water per person; there are no reliable water sources on trail. Rottnest is hot and windy year-round; wear sun protection and suitable walking shoes. Spring (Aug–Oct) offers wildflowers and cooler temperatures. Dogs are not permitted on Rottnest Island.
