What to expect
An unpaved track through native forest typical of the South-West. Relatively flat terrain with minimal gradient. The surface may be uneven in places, so sturdy walking shoes are advisable. Expect dappled shade from jarrah and marri forest, though some sections may be open. The track should be clearly marked.
Good to know
Carry water even on short walks; South-West summers are hot. Suitable for families and those new to bushwalking. Check conditions after heavy rain, as unpaved tracks can become muddy. Spring (Aug–Oct) brings wildflowers. Dogs are often not permitted in forest reserves—check local rules before visiting.
