- Dramatic red-rock gorge setting
- Quick walk, minimal time investment
- Suitable for families and all fitness levels
What to expect
Unpaved but well-defined track descending gently to the falls. Minimal elevation change over the short distance. Likely some shade from spinifex and sparse vegetation typical of Pilbara gorges, though exposure to sun is possible. Track should be clearly signposted and easy to follow.
Good to know
Carry water even for this short walk—Pilbara heat is intense and shade is limited. Summer (Nov–Apr) is extremely hot and may pose bushfire risk; visit in cooler months (May–Sep). Wear sturdy walking shoes for uneven ground. Check park conditions and access before visiting.
